New To Hockey

Welcome to the St. Louis Park Hockey Association

Thank you for your interest in our youth boys & girls program!

Why Hockey?

1.  Hockey IS fun
Hockey is a great spectator sport with many opportunities to meet new people & make new friends (for the whole family).

2.  Hockey is great exercise for the body & mind.
A cardiovascular, interval, fast-paced sport that also helps you develop high levels of physical coordination, mental focus and concentration.

3.  Hockey teaches life skills -- teamwork & character
Kids learn the value of working with others toward a common goal in a fun, encouraging environment.  They experience a team spirit that promotes trust, responsibility, sportsmanship, self-confidence and determination.  They build character through their accomplishments and by rebounding from disappointments.

4.  You live in MN.
During the winter months, it is a great way to keep your child active.  Besides, MN is the state of hockey!
