SLP Volunteer Policy

We rely on volunteering throughout the season to keep our program fees affordable and lower than most.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

We rely on volunteering throughout the season to keep our program fees affordable and lower than most.

Each family is required to complete their TOTAL hours, per skater/goalie, with a maximum cap of 28 hours total per family.

For example, if you have 2 players in your family:

  1 Mite/Youth 8U    (14 hours required)
  1 Squirt/Youth 10U  (14 hours required) 

Then your family's total required volunteer hours = 28 hours.

Volunteer opportunities / hours are posted and can be claimed via the online DIBS system on a first come, first serve basis.

As part of player registration, you are required to agree to:

Work the required hours, OR
Opt out and pay $750 to waive the volunteer requirement.

If you agree to work your hours, your credit card will be charged $1.00 during registration which allows us to hold your credit card should you not complete your hours.

If you do NOT fulfill your volunteer hours, then your credit card will be charged $750.00 on June 15, 2024 for each player’s hours that were not completed.

This fee will not be prorated for partial completion of hours.

SLP Volunteer System (DIBS)

Volunteer opportunities for the 2020-21 season will be available beginning in October.

We use the DIBS system to run our volunteer opportunities.

To get started.... Simply login to your NGIN (website) account and click on Dibs in the upper right hand corner of this screen.

There you will be able to find volunteer opportunities that are currently available. If nothing is listed, then there are no volunteer opportunities available at this time so please check back.

Please note: You must use the same online account that was used when registering your skater for the current season.
